I haven’t seen this darling family since Shannon was a wee little babe….and it was so fun to hang with them again. This time sweet Shannon wasn’t givin’ up the smiles so easily, like she did as a newborn. Yes, that’s what I said. She was a smiling newborn. You must go and check that out. But anyway, cutie pie Shannon is now a big sis and her little brother is pretty darn cute too. So, it actually works out okay when I come across a toddler with a serious personality because, as you may know, I am a sucker for a good serious face photo. I often actually prefer those more than the smiling shots. Her mom and dad tell me she is kind of a reserved little gal, so hopefully these images will one day remind them of the way she really was at this age. I had fun trying to tease a smile out of her, but no matter what tricks I had up my sleeve, nothing was going to make that girl crack….until….right at the end of our session, she and her mama had a playful session of running in the grass and little Shannon decided to crack a few smiles and giggles… and boy, was it worth the wait! Too. Darn. Cute. Colleen and Victor, it was so great to see you again. Your family is BEAUTIFUL!
