Amy and I go way, way back. Before husbands and kids and bottles and baby swings, she and I taught middle school together, what seems like ages ago now. So I was thrilled when Amy contacted me and asked me to shoot her family photos. And when I saw her on the day of our session it was like no time at all had passed. She is as gorgeous and gracious as I remember and her entire family couldn’t have been more adorable and sweet. Seriously. It was raining. And no one was complaining. ?? In fact every single last one of them, was smiling and cheery and happy and lovely. I am not kidding. Did I mention it was raining? And I really don’t mind the rain at all. But usually people who are getting their portraits taken do mind, a lot. I have honestly never had an extended family shoot like this. Perfect. They were seriously the BEST, so I can’t not mention the irony that they are the Best Family. And I am sure you noticed: The camera loves all of them.
