I first met the Allen family last summer after they were referred to me by my friend, Mindy.  Barb is Mindy’s best friend and its clear to me why–thoughtful, generous people are attracted to one another!  On the morning of our photo shoot, I was the recipient of Barb’s generosity.  She barely knows me, but does know that I have a daughter a little younger than hers, and another who was born this summer so she showed up with a bin of clothes that her cutie pie had outgrown and thought we could use. So sweet and thoughtful! Last summer the super cute Allen family had grandma and their cousins along for the ride but this year it was just the five of them.  They were troopers on this chilly Sunday morning on the beach, which was a stark comparison to the hot, humid July day we met last summer.  Anything goes for a nice family photo for the holiday card, right? That’s my motto anyway.  I’m not so sure Scott agrees with me on that, but I think he will be happy with the results.
