A couple weeks ago I met Elise and her mom, Brenda, in the Third Ward for her senior portrait session. Elise is a senior at DSHA who is also on the State Champion volleyball team there. I first met Elise and her family through mutual friends but have gotten to know her even better since she has played volleyball with my daughter, Callie, for the past two seasons. Elise is such a sweetheart with a bright future ahead of her and I am looking forward to seeing where life takes her next.
